what WE need YOU to do for us

We need you to fill the role of Volunteer Services Intern. This is a PART TIME, NON-EXEMPT, UNPAID position. You’ll wow us by masterfully performing the following key duties and responsibilities:

  • Coordinating volunteer groups who want to host activities for the youth we serve
  • Recruiting and managing volunteers for fundraising events
  • Recruiting and managing volunteers for the SAFE Holiday Programs
  • Other duties as assigned to benefit the Volunteer Services Team

to be successful in this role, WE’LL need YOU to

  • Be currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s Degree program with a minimum credit level as a Junior
  • Office or customer service experience is strongly preferred
  • Be able to respond to the public via email, phone calls, and in-person with grace and tact.
  • Be able to work (3) four-hour shifts per week during M-F, 8:00a – 4:00p
  • Pass all required criminal history background checks (including an FBI fingerprint check), as well as submit to a pre-employment drug screen and TB test.
  • Adhere to our Guiding Principles, Mission, Core Competencies and Confidentiality Policy.
